The Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) informed that up to now, the whole province has organized visits and presented 233,189 gifts, of which 125,689 gifts are cash and 107,500 gifts are in kind (calculated according to the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), with a total amount of over 108.5 billion VND from the union's financial resources, the Provincial Union Member and Labor Support Fund, support from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and socialized sources. In addition, union members and laborers have benefited from the online "Union Tet Market" Program, organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in An Giang there are 2,770 online shopping support gifts, worth 500,000 VND/gift, with a total amount of over 1.3 billion VND.
From the union budget at all levels, 125,689 union members and employees were taken care of by the union organization during Tet with nearly 75 billion VND. The provincial Labor Confederation's budget visited and gave gifts to 2,461 people with more than 2.4 billion VND. Of which, the union organization visited and gave support to 97 children of union members and employees with serious or incurable diseases; supported 299 union members and employees with serious or incurable diseases, work accidents, occupational diseases; supported employees in difficult circumstances... The union will visit, encourage and give gifts to 100 union members and employees performing tasks on New Year's Eve, including: Environmental sanitation workers and medical staff, with a total amount of 200 million VND.
At the provincial "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Gratitude to the Party" program, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy said that, continuously for many years, trade unions at all levels in the province have successfully organized many activities to care for Tet for union members and workers, especially the "Tet Sum Vay" program originating from the initiative of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has spread strongly, helping Party committees at all levels, authorities, and business leaders to pay attention and accompany.
