Collectives and individuals are rewarded
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Thoai Son District People's Council Huynh Cong Truong emphasized that studying and following the examples of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton is a continuous task that needs to be promptly concretized into programs and action plans for implementation; widely propagated and disseminated to Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, units and localities for implementation; at the same time, focusing on spreading typical examples, good people, good deeds, good practices, effective models to contribute to the good implementation of social security policies and taking care of people's lives at the grassroots level.
After 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW, the Party Committee and People of Thoai Son district have achieved many outstanding results: Organizing nearly 1,800 thematic dissemination sessions for more than 50,000 cadres and party members; launching a series of movements to combine learning from Uncle Ho with practical work; effectively resolving 62 prominent cases in society that have received public attention. In particular, the district has commended 507 typical examples at the district level, proposed 85 examples at the provincial level and 3 examples at the central level, with many creative models such as: "Charity rice jar", "Charity kitchen", "Charity shelter", "Party committee listens to people's opinions".
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 23 outstanding collectives and 16 individuals in 2025.
