
Specifically, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has just signed Decisions 146/QD-TTg and 147/QD-TTg on providing rice from the national reserve to localities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and the 2024 crop year.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to provide 1,444.59 tons of rice from the national reserve to the provinces of An Giang, Tay Ninh, Lang Son, Quang Ngai, and Kien Giang free of charge to support people during the Lunar New Year and the 2024 crop year.
Providing rice to support people in the provinces on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024: Tay Ninh province: 351.81 tons of rice; An Giang province: 85.44 tons of rice, Quang Ngai province: 332.37 tons of rice, Kien Giang province 19,905 tons of rice.
Rice distribution to support people during the 2024 crop gap: Lang Son province 236.4 tons of rice, An Giang province 416.385 tons of rice, Kien Giang province 2.28 tons of rice.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to handle the matter specifically according to regulations; according to assigned functions and tasks, they are responsible for the basis, information and data reported.
The People's Committees of the provinces: An Giang, Tay Ninh, Lang Son, Quang Ngai, Kien Giang are responsible for the accuracy of the reported data and provide timely support, to the right subjects, and at the right rates according to regulations.
* On February 2, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed Decision No. 141/QD-TTg assigning the Ministry of Finance to issue 7,315.335 tons of rice from the national reserve to 9 localities to support people during the Lunar New Year and the 2024 crop gap.
The quantity of 5,704,365 tons issued to support people on the occasion of Lunar New Year for the following localities:
- Cao Bang province: 666,015 tons of rice
- Binh Dinh Province: 170.85 tons of rice
- Gia Lai province: 606,675 tons of rice
- Nghe An province: 1,080,255 tons of rice
- Bac Lieu Province: 483,735 tons of rice
- Dak Nong province: 317.85 tons of rice
- Ninh Thuan province: 982.05 tons of rice.
- Dak Lak province: 920.13 tons of rice.
- Binh Phuoc province: 476,805 tons of rice.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to provide 1,610.97 tons of rice to the following localities to support people during the crop gap:
- Gia Lai province: 588,375 tons of rice
- Dak Nong province: 315,825 tons of rice
- Dak Lak province: 706.77 tons of rice
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to handle the matter specifically according to regulations; according to assigned functions and tasks, they are responsible for the basis, information and data reported.
