One of the highlights of the program is the emotional reenactment of two victory news bulletins broadcast on April 30 and May 1, 1975, milestones in language that have been engraved in the memories of millions of Vietnamese people like the bell of freedom and independence .
The first news broadcast at noon on April 30, 1975 from VOV in Hanoi with the voice of announcer Tuyet Mai - was the first confirmation sent from the heart of the Capital to the entire nation: "This is the voice of Vietnam, broadcasting from Hanoi, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Faced with the overwhelming attack of our army and people, the enemy was forced to lay down their weapons and surrender unconditionally...".
On the evening of May 1, 1975, Saigon Liberation Television Station broadcast its second news bulletin, from the land that had just gained independence. It was the first broadcast of the newly taken over television station, but it had the mission of opening a new era:
“This is Saigon Liberation Radio and Television Station, broadcasting from Saigon, greetings to our beloved compatriots… At 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 1975, our heroic and glorious city was liberated…”.
The program brings the audience emotional and proud experiences. |
Two news bulletins, one from Hanoi, one from Saigon, were like two heartbeats in unison on the day of reunification. They have gone beyond the framework of journalism, becoming the most vivid media heritages in modern Vietnamese history. And in “The Triumphal Song”, they are not only replayed as documents, but are placed in the right place: as the soul, the root sound for the entire symphony of art, so that today’s generation can relive that moment with both their senses and their hearts.
The audience of the political art night “Song of Triumph” also had the opportunity to see precious images of the atmosphere of Hanoi streets bursting with joy on April 30, 1975 and images of Saigon in the early days of liberation with an equally joyful atmosphere. Or the images of generals and leaders of the two regions meeting in the City named after Uncle Ho in the days when the country was just unified, the bright smiles, the tight hugs between the generals on the day of peace .
Participating in the program, each artist brought performances with a strong personal mark, but with a common message: Be grateful for the past, live responsibly for the future. Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung with the new song "Dat oi no hoa"; singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan impressed with the medley "Mother loves child, Giai phong mien Nam" and "Di giua troi ruc ro" with a modern electronic arrangement; Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan chose a deep performance with the mashup "Tien len chien si dong bao - Ha Noi - Hue - Sai Gon" and "Loi ca dang Bac"...
