Yen Bai deploys peak plan to prevent and repel smuggling and trade fraud

The Steering Committee for Anti-Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit Goods of Yen Bai Province (Steering Committee 389 of Yen Bai Province) will launch a peak campaign to fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property rights in the area.

Accordingly, the member sectors of the Provincial Steering Committee 389 will closely follow market developments, strengthen the collection and analysis of information on supply and demand developments in commodity prices, especially essential goods that are easily exploited for speculation and smuggling such as: milk, modern medicine, functional foods, cosmetics, gasoline, tobacco, fertilizers, pesticides; proactively detect unusual fluctuations and prominent market issues, thereby identifying methods and tricks of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; identify subjects, routes, areas, and key goods that need to focus forces, means, and measures to fight in order to have timely and highly effective inspection and handling plans.

Along with that, strengthen inspection and supervision of public service activities of civil servants under their management to promptly urge assigned tasks, ensure quality and time according to regulations; proactively detect unusual fluctuations, outstanding issues of the market; monitor, inspect, control the market and strictly handle according to the provisions of law for essential goods on retail channels, unofficial agents, especially on social networks Zalo, Facebook, TikTok, ... where there are many potential risks of counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin, poor quality goods, goods infringing intellectual property rights.

The peak period will last until June 15, 2025.
