Jenna (27 years old, Utah) is living happily with her husband Mitchell even though they broke up and only got back together thanks to... a concussion. Sharing with People , Jenna said: "When people ask us about our love story, this is always the part we like to talk about the most."

In February 2020, Jenna and Mitchell "went their separate ways" because they felt they didn't have much time for each other. However, the next day, while skiing at Beaver Mountain, Mitchell had an accident while doing a somersault, passed out on the spot and was taken to the hospital by paramedics . When he woke up, he had a severe concussion and the first person he remembered was Jenna. He called and asked her to pick him up because he couldn't drive himself.

Jenna was initially confused when she received a call from her ex-boyfriend, as they had just broken up the day before. But the surprising thing was that Mitchell had no memory of their breakup. "He kept texting and asking me out as if the breakup had never happened," Jenna said.

After the accident, Mitchell continued to text Jenna to check in and invite her out. She said he even brought her ice cream to comfort her when he heard she and her roommate were having a bad day. This kindness and thoughtfulness made Jenna realize that she had made a mistake in breaking up with Mitchell.

Getting back together, Jenna learned that her boyfriend didn't remember the breakup.

After spring break, Jenna received a date from Mitchell and decided to try to get back together. However, as they talked, Jenna realized that while Mitchell remembered their conversation in the car that day, he couldn't remember what it was about. Mitchell laughed when Jenna told him about the breakup, which made her feel better. "It made it easier for us to get back together and probably never be apart again," Jenna said.
