This time, 11 individuals were awarded the medal "For the cause of cooperative development". The provincial cooperative alliance admitted 4 new members including the following cooperatives: Rice noodle production and packaging (Tu Ky); Hac Vang Kinh Mon agricultural production and trade services (Kinh Mon); Tam Anh clean agricultural products (Thanh Mien); Hoang Dieu leather and footwear production and services (Gia Loc).
The province currently has 530 cooperatives, of which 373 operate in the agricultural sector; 157 operate in the non-agricultural production sector. Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Cooperative Union has supported procedures and disbursed loans to 2 cooperatives totaling more than 1.4 billion VND to develop production and expand business.
