Ho Chi Minh City organizes a press award for writing about Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo

On September 16, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City announced that it had coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association to organize the "Journalism Award for Writing about Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo - 1st time in 2025".

The award is organized to promote the role of the press in propaganda work, responding to Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

The Organizing Committee accepts entries from January 1 to November 15, 2025. Entries must be published in newspapers or broadcast on radio or television during this period and have confirmation from the unit (signed and stamped).

Submission period is from now until November 20.

The Organizing Committee does not limit the number of entries (including all genres). Each author can only submit a maximum of 3 entries.

The entries focus on reflecting the key contents of Resolution 57 such as: raising awareness, promoting actions in the whole society on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; perfecting institutions and policies; developing infrastructure and data; developing human resources and attracting talents; promoting innovation and application of science and technology; developing digital government, digital economy, digital society; ensuring information safety, security and data sovereignty .

The Organizing Committee plans to hold the award ceremony in December 2025, within the framework of the Conference to summarize the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW in Ho Chi Minh City.

Units organize preliminary selection at the grassroots level and send entries to the Organizing Committee.

The winning authors and groups of authors will receive a Certificate of Merit from the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City and a commemorative medal and cash prizes including:

- 1 First Prize: 50,000,000 VND/prize

- 2 Second Prizes: 40,000,000 VND/prize

- 3 Third Prizes: 30,000,000 VND/prize

- 10 Consolation Prizes: 10,000,000 VND/prize

- 1 collective prize for the unit with the most entries: 40,000,000 VND/prize
