On November 3, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh, Head of the Inter-sectoral Working Group to review and evaluate administrative procedures nationwide, chaired a meeting of the Inter-sectoral Working Group.
Also attending were: Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Deputy Head of the Working Group; Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Van Hoi, Deputy Head of the Government Office Pham Manh Cuong; Director of the Department of Digital Transformation - Cryptography, Office of the Party Central Committee Ngo Hai Phan.
At the meeting, the Inter-sectoral Working Group focused on discussing the results of the tasks deployed to implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam in the Conclusion Notice No. 07-TB/BCĐ and key tasks in the coming time.
Many opinions analyzed in depth the requirements for perfecting the legal basis for reviewing and reducing administrative procedures; assessing the progress of building, connecting and exploiting national databases and specialized databases; proposing solutions to ensure technical infrastructure, information security and integration capabilities on the National Public Service Portal.
Ministries and branches also shared difficulties in organizing implementation at the local level, proposed strengthening the coordination mechanism between agencies; at the same time, highly agreed on the need to enhance the responsibility of leaders, publicize progress and implementation results to promote substantive changes in cutting administrative procedures.

Speaking at the meeting, the members of the Working Group highly agreed on the orientation of implementing tasks in the coming time and said that it is necessary to synchronously carry out solutions revolving around 3 core pillars of reviewing and reducing administrative procedures. These are legal solutions, solutions on perfecting the database and solutions on unifying the information system platform for handling administrative procedures.
Regarding the requirement to clearly identify the shortcomings, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long said that the current system of documents on political bases, documents implementing the direction and administration is complete, from documents of the Central Steering Committee, legal documents to documents directing and administration of the Government, the Prime Minister... That shows that the current problem lies in the implementation organization. The Deputy Minister of Public Security also said that there needs to be breakthrough solutions in the coming time...
Concluding the meeting, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized the spirit of effective coordination between agencies and units in connecting, synthesizing, and clarifying many remaining issues in the process of reviewing and reducing administrative procedures based on data.
Focusing on two key tasks set for November, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh requested ministries and branches to tighten progress, complete documents, reports and recommendations to submit to the Government and the Steering Committee on time, ensuring quality and feasibility.
Regarding the overall report sent to the Steering Committee, the Minister of Justice also requested that the report be rigorous, comprehensive and fully informative on the results achieved, problems, limitations, causes and specific recommendations to the Central Steering Committee.
