Deeply understanding the spirit of "Children today, world tomorrow", since 2016, the Bac Giang Provincial Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, Bac Giang Newspaper, and Bac Giang Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education (before the merger) have coordinated to organize the program "Wings of Dreams" for poor children, awarding scholarships and gifts to children in difficult circumstances at the beginning of the new school year every year.
After 9 years of organization, the program has given gifts and scholarships to more than 1,700 children in especially difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 6 billion VND. Thereby, encouraging and motivating them to continue going to school, having better learning conditions. Many children strive to achieve the title of good and excellent students, pass the entrance exams to universities and colleges, and realize their dreams. The program has spread kindness, leaving a good impression on all classes of people and many children.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Ms. Ngo Thi Sinh, President of the Provincial Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, said: In 2025, due to the severe impact of storm No. 11, some localities in the province were isolated, people were isolated, life faced many difficulties; many school-age children were also affected. Joining hands to act for children, the program "Wings of Dreams" for children in difficult circumstances in 2025 focuses on supporting and awarding scholarships to children affected by storms and floods. After a period of implementation, the program has received attention, sharing, and support from more than 30 agencies, units, businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside the province. The total amount of money and donations is worth more than 400 million VND. Among them are many individuals and groups that have accompanied the program for many years, such as: Venerable Thich Minh Quyet, Abbot of Hoa Yen Pagoda (Bac Giang Ward); Vinh Anh Trading and Service Company Limited, DNP Bac Giang Water Infrastructure Investment Company Limited... and many kind-hearted people from all over the country. With the above campaign results, the Organizing Committee decided to award scholarships worth from 2.5 million VND - 12 million VND/year/student along with school bags and necessities to 134 students, a total of about 400 million VND.

Many philanthropists, representatives of agencies, organizations, and businesses were present at the program to encourage and give gifts and scholarships to the children. For example, the Hanoi Love Connection group received long-term support for 4 children with a support level of 1 million VND/month/child; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Chinh, Ngoc Lan Pediatric Clinic helped Dao Ngoc Vi (Bac Giang ward) with a scholarship of 3 million VND; Hiep Hoa Commune Education Promotion Association sponsored 10 children, of which 9 children received 2.5 million VND and 1 child received 5 million VND...

At the program, Hoang Thi Ngoc Huong from Tan An ward (Bac Ninh), a new student at Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration, one of the students who received scholarships from the "Wings of Dreams" program in recent years, emotionally shared about her difficult situation when her family was poor for many years. Her father, mother and younger brother all suffered from serious illnesses. Her path to study seemed to be unfinished, but thanks to the support of benefactors and the program's organizing committee, she had more motivation and support to continue studying. She emotionally said: "The ladies and uncles not only supported me with scholarships, clothes, books, but also regularly called to ask about and encourage me. Up to now, after nearly 3 months of entering university, I still feel like I'm dreaming. I promise to try to study hard, have solid knowledge to get a job, help my parents and family, and become a useful person for society."
Speaking at the program, Mr. Luong The Khanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Bac Ninh Provincial Child Protection Association in recent times. With the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the initiative of the Association's leadership, the unit quickly stabilized the organization, effectively implemented the assigned tasks, thereby actively contributing to the overall results of the National Child Protection Association.

Mr. Luong The Khanh suggested that the Association continue to promote its role as a bridge, spreading activities to protect, care for and educate children to each facility and each residential area, paying special attention to difficult areas where children still lack learning and playing conditions. He emphasized that children's dreams are very simple, but to realize those small dreams, the whole community needs to join hands.
On this occasion, he expressed his thanks to the agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists who have accompanied and supported the Association in the process of implementing the program. The practical contributions of organizations and individuals not only bring resources, but also spread the spirit of humanity, creating more opportunities for children in the province to be better cared for and protected.
