150 students trained in people's foreign affairs

Attending the conference were Chairwoman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations Vu Thi Bich Viet and 150 trainees who are officials working in foreign affairs at departments, branches, districts and cities in the province; comrades in the Executive Committee of the Union and representatives of the Union's member friendship associations.

At the conference, the trainees listened to Reporter Dong Huy Cuong, Head of the Organization - Personnel Department, Director of the Institute for International Studies and People's Foreign Affairs, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations; Ms. Le Thi Thu Trang, Head of the Asia- Pacific Department, People's Aid Coordination Board, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, convey the guidelines, policies, and contents of people's foreign affairs in the new situation; people's foreign affairs work in bilateral foreign affairs activities through friendship associations; orientations for the development of friendship associations in the coming time; foreign information work; and work to mobilize foreign non-governmental aid.

Reporter Dong Huy Cuong, Head of Organization - Personnel Department, Director of the Institute for International Studies and People's Foreign Affairs, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations delivered a speech at the conference.

Through the training, the aim is to equip knowledge, information and foreign affairs skills for the staff in charge of foreign affairs of agencies, units and the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, contributing to better implementation of advisory work and effective implementation of people's foreign affairs in accordance with the regulations of the Party and State in the province.
