17 outstanding performances honoring the Party, Uncle Ho and the homeland at the Hai Phong City Elderly Singing Festival 2025

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of June 5, at the Political - Administrative Center of Ngo Quyen district, the Association of the Elderly (NCT) of Hai Phong city coordinated with the Association of the Elderly of Ngo Quyen district to organize the 2025 Elderly Singing Festival, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the 84th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Elderly (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2025).

Participating in the 2025 City Elderly Singing Festival are 17 outstanding performances, selected from localities and units in the city. The performances praise the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, country and national pride. Some typical performances include: Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name, Melody of the Fatherland, Song of the Country dedicated to Him, Lotus of Thap Muoi, Lullaby of Uncle Ho, I am a Hai Phong person, Returning to the land of waves, returning to the land of wind, Returning to the land of ban flowers, Hai Phong - the city of childhood, Truong Son night remembering Uncle Ho, Meeting comrades, Song to Bach Long Vy, Song of unification, Dong Loc - Ten immortal flowers, Lac Hong bloodline, and Song of the Elderly....

The Elderly Singing Festival is a meaningful playground, creating conditions for the elderly to meet, exchange, and share their passion for singing; at the same time, continue to live happily, healthily, and usefully, contributing to spreading the mass arts movement at the grassroots level. The lyrics and voices sent by the elders, uncles, and art clubs to the program are not only sweet and profound melodies but also all the love, respect, and pride of the previous generation for their homeland, country, and future generations./.
