The results of the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses by the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions show that by May 31, 2025, Ninh Thuan province has completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
Thus, up to now, there are 20 localities nationwide that no longer have temporary or dilapidated houses.
Recently, Ha Tinh province organized a summary of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area on May 29, 2025, combined with a summary of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025.
The whole country has Ninh Thuan completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses (expected to be announced in June 2025). Thereby, bringing the total number of provinces and cities without temporary and dilapidated houses to 20/63 localities.
Some localities continue to review the number of temporary and dilapidated houses that need support such as: Dak Lak, Binh Phuoc, Tra Vinh, Dong Nai, Ben Tre .
According to local reports, by May 31, 2025, the country had supported the elimination of 203,048 temporary and dilapidated houses. Of these, 138,671 houses were inaugurated and 64,377 houses were under construction or under construction.
Specifically, support 26,362 houses for people with revolutionary contributions.
Along with that, support for 51,430 houses under 2 national target programs and 125,256 houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
