Nearly 200 staff, lecturers and students of Dalat University participated in voluntary blood donation

(LĐ online) - On June 4, at Dalat University, nearly 200 staff, lecturers and students of Dalat University participated in the Voluntary Blood Donation Program - DLU Red Drops organized by Dalat University in coordination with the Provincial Red Cross Society and Lam Dong Provincial General Hospital.

Many students were preparing to go home for the summer but were encouraged to stay and donate blood voluntarily.

Although it was summer vacation time, with the mobilization and appeal from the Youth Union, Student Association of the school and the enthusiasm of the youth, from early morning, many cadres, lecturers and students of Dalat University were present and lined up to participate in blood donation.

At the end of the program, Lam Dong General Hospital received 143 units of blood. The hospital said that during this time, the blood reserve of all blood groups at the hospital is often in short supply, these blood units will be provided promptly for emergency cases, contributing to saving the lives of many patients.

Staff and lecturers volunteer to donate blood

In recent times, Dalat University has regularly coordinated with the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society and other functional units to organize humanitarian blood donation campaigns, which have received active response from many staff, lecturers and students in the school.
