22 businesses participate in the 8th job fair in 2023

(DN)- On June 12, Dong Nai Employment Service Center organized the 8th job fair in 2023. There were 22 units and enterprises participating in the fair with a need to recruit nearly 1,400 workers, of which unskilled workers accounted for over 85%.

At the job fair, about 300 workers searched for job information and interviewed for jobs. As a result, 250 applications were received.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Employment Service Center, although the demand for labor recruitment at the floor is mostly for unskilled labor in the garment and labor export industries, the number of unskilled laborers and skilled laborers participating in job search at the floor is very limited, or does not meet the recruitment criteria of enterprises.

Therefore, the number of applications for unskilled labor at the floor only reached nearly 15%. The center will increase recruitment information of enterprises in the province and organize job floors to support unemployed workers to return to the labor market soon.
