26 works of the Capital Literature and Arts Award 2024

(CLO) Many works participating in the 2024 Capital Literature and Arts Awards carry the breath and rhythm of contemporary life, praising the quintessence of the land, people and culture of Hanoi with a vivid expression style.

On December 18, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association awarded the 2024 Capital Literature and Arts Award to 26 works.

People's Artist Tran Quoc Chiem, Chairman of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association, said that this year's award has more than 100 entries.

According to the assessment of the Art Council, most of the authors participating in the award have closely followed the content and theme according to the rules and regulations. In particular, many works have exuded the breath and rhythm of contemporary life, praising the quintessence of the land, people and culture of Hanoi with a vivid expression style, creating richness and diversity.

Through two preliminary and final rounds, the Art Council unanimously selected 26 best literary and artistic works to award prizes.

Specifically, in the field of literature, there are works: "Poetry and epic" (Nguyen Viet Chien), "Hanoi - Literature on the new journey" (Bui Viet My), "Memory land" (Cao Ngoc Thang).

Regarding music , the works are: "Hanoi in autumn in you" (Can Tung Lam), "Hang Buom old town I love" (Cat Van), "Nguyen Dinh Thi with music" (Nguyen Thi Minh Chau), "Love Hanoi in autumn" (Hong Hoa).

Regarding photography, there are works: "Through the heritage land" (Phan Huy Thiep), "Buying flowers on the old town" (Vu Quang Ngoc), "Ngoc Son experience tour - Mysterious night" (Tran Thu Ha).

In the field of theater, there are works: "The Unfaithful Circle" (Hanoi Drama Theater), "The Magical Fist of Sticky Rice" (Hanoi Cheo Theater), "On Writing Stage Scripts" (Le Quy Hien), "The Fate of a Peach Blossom" (Hanoi Reformed Theater).

In the field of fine arts, awards were given to the following works: “Advancing to the Capital” (Vu Dai Binh), “Complex Intersection” (Ngo Thanh Nhan), “Hanoi in the Straw Hat Era” (Bui Vi Hoai), “Steel Shield” (Dao Hoa Vinh).

Regarding folk literature, there are works: "Son Tay Scholars" (Bui Xuan Dinh, Dinh Khac Thuan), "Trieu Khuc Ancient Village" (Giang Nguyen Boi).

In the field of cinema, there are works: "Doctor Tran Duy Hung - A Hanoi Dignity" (Pham Hang Giang), "A Thousand Years of Soul" (Viet Huong), "Born in 1972" (Nguyen Si Chung, Bang Mai Phuong).

The dance field includes works: "Human Love Painting" (Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang, Lu Thi Kieu Le, Pham Thanh Tung, Nguyen Thi Hien Trang), "Research on foreign folk dance" (Ta Thi Kim Thinh), "Heroic Youth" (Tran Thao Van).

Within the framework of the award ceremony, the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association also coordinated with specialized associations to introduce a number of songs and display works of photography, fine arts, literature, music research, folk arts, etc. that won the Capital Literature and Arts Award in 2024.
