300 athletes participate in Banking Sports Festival

BTO-On the morning of May 11, at the Provincial Gymnasium, the State Bank of Vietnam, Binh Thuan Branch, held the opening ceremony of the Binh Thuan Banking Industry Sports Festival 2024.

This is a series of activities to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the Bank's founding (May 6, 1951 - May 6, 2024) and the 31st anniversary of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union (April 1, 1993 - April 1, 2024).
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc and the Provincial Labor Federation. The 2024 Binh Thuan Banking Sports Festival was attended by more than 300 athletes from more than 20 credit institutions located in the province.

The sports festival will take place over 7 days, starting from May 6 to 12. Athletes will compete in 4 sports: football, table tennis, badminton and tug of war. On the opening day, tug of war, table tennis and badminton will begin. Football has been played since May 6. The finals of football and tug of war will take place on the closing day, on the morning of May 12.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Phan Thanh En - Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Binh Thuan Branch said: The organizing committee of the sports festival has coordinated with the provincial General Gymnasium to bring professionalism and quality to each match. The sports festival is a useful playground, improving health and strengthening solidarity and attachment for officers and employees of the banking sector in the province...
