On November 8th, the organizing committee of the 2024 Human Act Prize announced the list of 32 outstanding projects that have advanced to the final round.

According to the organizers, in its second year, the Human Act Prize 2024, themed “Community Creation,” attracted 128 high-quality entries. The submitted projects were incredibly diverse in their areas of activity, ranging from equal education , community health and prosperity, poverty alleviation, to clean energy, sustainable business, and responsible production and consumption.

On November 8th, the preliminary judging panel announced the list of 32 outstanding projects that will advance to the final round. The preliminary judging panel, comprised of experts, journalists, and social activists with extensive expertise and influence in their respective fields, conducted an objective and comprehensive evaluation of the applications based on five core criteria that the Human Act Prize always seeks and promotes. These criteria include: Commitment; Sustainability; Innovation; Impact; and the Project/Idea's ability to inspire and spread awareness.

According to journalist Vu Mai Hoang, President of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Journalists' Association, Head of the Nhan Dan Weekend section - and a member of the preliminary judging panel, overall, the 32 projects that made it to the Final Round are all good projects with a positive impact on the community. Among these, many projects have been implemented consistently for many years, with results measured by convincing figures, and especially have the potential for further expansion in scale and impact in the near future.

Besides the participation of large-scale projects from businesses with a vision for social responsibility, we acknowledge the contributions from smaller-scale projects, initiated by individuals, that have demonstrated creativity in their ideas and implementation methods.

“The Preliminary Judging Panel of the Human Act Prize 2024 conducted its judging process diligently, but also fairly, objectively, and thoughtfully, carefully considering and discussing to select 32 projects out of a total of 128 entries that met the award criteria, especially those related to the theme of 'Creative Communities',” journalist Vu Mai Hoang emphasized.

The Chairman of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Journalists' Association also added: "As an award directed and organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, with the participation and support of several ministries and agencies, along with the coordination of VCCorp Joint Stock Company and the media sponsorship of major press agencies, we believe that, with projects that may not have been selected for the final round this year, with the support from the Organizing Committee, they can achieve even more positive results in future seasons."

According to the organizers, the 32 selected projects will continue to compete in the final round of the Human Act Prize 2024, where community-oriented initiatives are celebrated and supported, aiming to build a more sustainable and prosperous society.

The projects will also be displayed in the Community Action exhibition space at the Bai Duong courtyard, Temple of Literature from November 22nd to December 1st. Meanwhile, the final round of the Human Act Prize will take place from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on November 22nd at the Tien Duong House - Thai Hoc area, Temple of Literature ( Hanoi ).
