35% of new Hue technical and technological engineers are recruited by foreign enterprises

In the first class of Hue Faculty of Engineering and Technology, 35% of new engineers were recruited by businesses. Because of the shortcut, students of the faculty's "hot" majors had jobs right after graduation, many of them started working from their third year.

On June 16, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Hue University (HUET) said that the first engineering class of the faculty has graduated. After 5 years of study, the new engineers are sought after by many leading enterprises, of which 35% have found jobs at many foreign enterprises, technology companies and large corporations such as Nissoy, Fukuhaku Japan, CP Group, Cienco Group, Hoa Phat Group, ThacoAuto, HBI...

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, the first course of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Hue University has trained 66 new engineers and 5 masters, many of whom have been working since their third year. In particular, many new engineers in data science and artificial intelligence are continuing to study for master's degrees at schools in Taiwan and Japan...

"The new engineers and masters graduating from this first class come from many regions across the country, graduating in four majors with high demand for human resources such as data science and artificial intelligence; control engineering and automation; electrical engineering, and construction engineering. The first generation of new engineers from HUET has outstanding academic achievements, of which 10% graduated with honors and 45% graduated with honors," said Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Hue University was established and enrolled its first course in 2020. Up to now, it has more than 750 students in 5 majors and is striving to become a university by 2025.
