Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen An Thinh, Head of the Faculty of Development Economics, University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, introduced the majors in the undergraduate training program in Development Economics according to the international model.

The training program of Development Economics majors is based on the high-quality Bachelor training program of Economics and International Development of the University of Sussex (UK). Teaching and learning in English accounts for 30% of the total credits, focusing on practice, quantitative analysis and application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

The educational philosophy of the majors considers learners as the center, ensuring comprehensive internationalization and 6 job positions with the minimum output standards of the training program meeting the input standards of recruiting agencies (Domestic and foreign economic groups; Small and medium enterprises; International development agencies; Public organizations, state management; Universities, research institutes; Business startups).
