500 officers and soldiers of Division 968 support Hue City people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

QTO - After a prolonged period of heavy rains causing flooding, mud and affecting the lives of people in Hue City, Regiment 19 (Division 968) mobilized more than 500 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to deploy forces to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Accordingly, the regiment's forces were assigned to the wards of Vi Da, Phu Xuan, Kim Long, Huong An, Thuy Xuan, Tay Loc, and some other affected areas, focusing on cleaning up the environment, supporting the cleaning of roads, residential areas, schools, medical facilities and public places. The activities were carried out in an urgent and synchronous manner, prioritizing community service locations to help people soon stabilize their lives, study and activities.

According to the report of Division 968, the force participating in the mission in Thuy Van and Thuan Hoa wards organized the cleaning of 3 schools and cleaned many main roads in the area. During the implementation process, officers and soldiers strictly followed regulations, coordinated effectively with local authorities, and ensured absolute safety for people and vehicles.

The flood relief support activities of Regiment 19 clearly demonstrate the sense of responsibility and initiative of the armed forces in their mission to help people, contributing to the restoration of the urban environment and stabilizing life in Hue City after natural disasters.
