To achieve this goal, one of the important solutions that Thai Nguyen province is implementing is to focus on building a model of community tourism, agricultural tourism associated with tea culture; diversifying tourism products and services, perfecting tourism infrastructure; developing types of cultural, spiritual, and origin tourism based on existing relic sites, historical sites, and heritages... According to the plan, the province strives to complete support for 5 selected locations to build pilot models for community tourism development by 2025.
Up to now, 6 community tourism destinations have been recognized by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province. Among them: Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Conservation Area (Thinh Duc Commune, Thai Nguyen City) associated with the cultural characteristics of the Tay ethnic group, honored to be the only representative of Southeast Asia to receive the "Best Tourist Village" award in 2022 by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO); Quyen Ethnic Cultural Village Tourist Site (Diem Mac Commune, Dinh Hoa District) associated with the ATK Dinh Hoa Special National Monument; Mo Ga Hamlet Community Tourism Site (Vo Nhai) with activities of visiting and experiencing Mo Ga communal house, traditional stilt houses, fruit gardens, hand-woven weaving, pounding sticky rice cakes and traditional folk games; Tan Cuong Commune Community Tourism Site (Thai Nguyen City) associated with the province's famous specialty tea region; Ghenh Che Lake community tourism site (Binh Son commune, Song Cong city) is managed by Ghenh Che - Binh Son - Song Cong Community Tourism Cooperative, associated with the scenic spot of Ghenh Che Lake, the historical site of Ba Van camp and traditional craft villages.
Most recently, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1866/QD-UBND on recognizing the Tan Son Hamlet Community Tourism Site, La Bang Commune (Dai Tu) managed by the Kem La Bang Community Tourism Cooperative. Participating in providing services at the Tan Son Hamlet Community Tourism Site are households and individuals in the hamlet. Tourism products are formed on the basis of exploiting the strengths of natural landscapes, tea hills and the system of streams and waterfalls along the eastern slope of Tam Dao range. Along with that are the traditional cultural values of local ethnic minorities./.
