Accordingly, the total fee collection of the 3 international border gates from January 1 to June 10, 2025 is nearly 184 billion VND, reaching 75.37% of the assigned estimate for 2025 (244 billion VND). The total number of vehicles entering and exiting the border gates subject to fees is 155,825, of which 65,459 are transit vehicles - temporary import and re-export, with a collection of 154 billion VND.
In May alone (from May 11 to June 10, 2025), the amount collected was 40.5 billion VND, the total number of vehicles entering and exiting the border gate subject to fees was 30,269, of which 14,977 were transit vehicles - temporarily imported and re-exported, the amount collected was 35.5 billion VND.
Currently, the Economic Zone Management Board is focusing on investing in completing infrastructure and wharves to meet the needs of import and export of goods at border gates.
On July 1, 2021, the People's Council of Tay Ninh province issued Resolution No. 05/2021/NQ-HDND stipulating the collection rates, collection, management and use of fees for using infrastructure works for vehicles entering and exiting Moc Bai, Xa Mat, Chang Riec and Tan Nam border gates.
The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a procedure for collecting fees for using infrastructure works at Tay Ninh international border gates. Accordingly, it guides the collection and payment points for arising fees for passenger transport vehicles, vehicles transporting exported, imported, and transit goods entering and leaving the Moc Bai, Xa Mat, and Tan Nam international border gates in Tay Ninh province.
The collection of fees by specialized State management agencies at border gates in the province is carried out according to the collection levels prescribed in the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council.
