Accordingly, retail sales of goods in the first 6 months of 2025 are estimated at VND 2,613.1 trillion, accounting for 76.5% of the total and increasing by 7.9% over the same period last year. Of which, the group of cultural and educational items increased by 11.5%; food and foodstuffs increased by 9.5%; garments increased by 6.1%; household appliances, tools and equipment increased by 5.5% over the same period last year. Retail sales of goods in the first 6 months of the year in some localities such as Quang Ninh increased by 10%, Hai Phong and Da Nang both increased by 8.2%, Ho Chi Minh City increased by 7.9%, Can Tho increased by 7.6%, Hanoi increased by 7.3%.
