The State Council of Professors has just announced a list of 695 candidates proposed by the basic professor council to be considered for recognition as meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 2023.

In the list announced by the State Council of Professors, there are 76 professor candidates and 619 associate professor candidates. The Council of Professors of Military Science and Security Science does not make the candidates public.

Also according to this list, the Economics Professorship Council has the most candidates, with 102 people. Next is the Medicine Professorship Council with 82 people; the Interdisciplinary Professorship Council of Mechanics - Dynamics has 48 people.

Some councils have very low numbers of candidates, such as: The Council of Professors of Metallurgy has 3 people; The Council of Professors of History - Archeology - Ethnology has 4 people; The Council of Professors of Literature has 5 people...

Compared to 2022, the list of candidates for the title of professor and associate professor this year increased by 249 people (in 2022 there were 446 candidates).

The Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Animal Husbandry - Veterinary Medicine - Aquaculture has 25 members; the Council of Professors of Mechanics: 6 members; the Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Mechanics - Dynamics has 48 members;

The Council of Professors of Information Technology has 19 members; the Council of Professors of Pharmacy has 13 members; the Council of Professors of Interdisciplinary Electricity - Electronics - Automation has 37 members;

The Council of Professors of the Transport Department has 26 members; the Council of Professors of theEducation Department has 22 members; the Council of Professors of the Chemistry - Food Technology Department has 60 members;

The Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Earth Sciences and Mining has 17 members; the Council of Professors of Law has 12 members;

The Linguistics Professorial Council has 7 members; the Agriculture - Forestry Interdisciplinary Professorial Council has 35 members; the Biology Professorial Council has 31 members;

The Psychology Professor Council has 8 members; the Irrigation Professor Council has 11 members; the Mathematics Professor Council has 31 members; the Philosophy - Sociology - Political Science interdisciplinary Professor Council has 16 members;

The Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Culture - Arts - Sports has 12 people; the Council of Professors of Physics has 33 people; the Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Construction - Architecture has 30 people.

According to the procedure, universities establish a Basic Council to review the applications. After approving the list of qualified candidates, the Basic Council sends the results to the State Council.

The State Council assigns the Industry and Inter-Industry Councils to evaluate and eliminate those who fail to meet the standards. Next, the State Council reviews and approves the list of qualified candidates and publishes it.
