Black lentils : A 2021 study by Harvard University, USA, and several other units, on more than 77,000 people, showed that people who ate at least 1/2 serving (14 g) of foods rich in plant flavonoids, anthocyanins, from black lentils every day reduced the risk of cognitive decline by 20% compared to those who ate less.
According to researchers, anthocyanins in black lentils, raspberries, and cherries have anti-cognitive, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects, which should boost brain health and prevent early cognitive loss.
