7 groups of solutions to restructure the agricultural sector comprehensively, sustainably and modernly

The Department of Agriculture and Environment has just decided to allocate more than 19.2 billion VND to its affiliated units to restructure the agricultural sector towards comprehensiveness, sustainability and modernity by 2025. Accordingly, the groups of solutions include: Restructuring key agricultural products, transferring science and technology, improving the quality of crop and livestock varieties; developing high-tech agriculture, smart agriculture and mechanizing production; proactively preventing and combating natural disasters and epidemics, implementing circular agriculture models; promoting agricultural processing, developing brands, OCOP products and promoting trade; preventing deforestation, encroachment on forestry land, restoring and developing sustainable forests; developing irrigation systems, clean water and modernizing infrastructure serving production; developing production linkage chains and building new rural areas.
