700 hours of volunteer work by Herbalife Vietnam during Global Goals Month

A series of charity activities within the framework of Global Goals Month is being implemented by Herbalife Group in the Asia- Pacific region from April to June 2023.

According to Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Director of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: "Global Goals Month is in line with our tradition of regularly carrying out community activities, creating more opportunities for independent members and company employees to participate in practical and meaningful volunteer activities."

"We are very proud that Herbalife Vietnam's charity projects always receive support from independent members and company employees, who are constantly making positive contributions to the community and the planet through many different initiatives," Mr. Thang added.

Independent members and employees of Herbalife Vietnam visited children at the Da Nang Center for Supporting the Development of InclusiveEducation and Binh Minh Primary School (Hanoi).

This community initiative received a strong response from Herbalife independent members and employees, with a total of 748 hours of volunteering to benefit people in need and the environment.

In addition, to encourage participation in volunteer activities, Herbalife implements a policy of providing 16 hours of paid leave each year for employees to participate in community activities.

Independent members and Herbalife Vietnam employees also spent time participating in public cleaning activities at locations such as Son Tra beach and mountain in Da Nang, Thong Nhat park in Hanoi , and Cay Mai park in Ho Chi Minh City.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Herbalife Vietnam volunteers visited and gave gifts to disadvantaged children undergoing cancer treatment at Thien Tam Free Hostel and lonely elderly people at Thi Nghe Nursing Center.

In the Asia Pacific region, Herbalife Independent Members and employees dedicated more than 3,200 hours of volunteering to benefit their communities through Global Goals Month. The Global Goals Month initiative contributes to Herbalife’s goal of making 50 million positive impacts to nourish people and the planet by 2030, the company’s 50th anniversary.
