This year's competition has 13 teams with nearly 80 artisans from villages and hamlets in the commune and neighboring communes.


At the competition, artisans created and demonstrated their weaving skills, creating rattan and bamboo handicraft products that ensure aesthetics; environmentally friendly materials and dyes; suitable and unique decorative motifs and color combinations...

The artisans have prepared all the materials and tools to complete the competition well; most of the artisans are experienced in traditional handicraft weaving. Many products of the competing teams have shown creativity and uniqueness in the technique of changing patterns and new motifs...

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes to the winning teams. The winning products will be displayed and introduced by the Organizing Committee at tourism promotion events in and outside the province.
The traditional weaving handicraft competition is held annually during the cultural festival to preserve and honor the traditional weaving profession of the Tay people in Nghia Do commune, while creating products for tourism and socio -economic development of the locality.
