81 young soldiers experience the Police semester

On the morning of June 3, the Standing Committee of Soc Trang Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Police and the Department of Education and Training to organize the Launching Ceremony of the 3rd "Police Semester" Experience Program in 2025.

Ms. Trieu Thi Ngoc Diem, Secretary of Soc Trang Provincial Youth Union, said that the "Police Semester" experience program has been organized by Soc Trang Provincial Youth Union in coordination with other units since 2023. This year, the program took place for 10 days, from June 3 to 12, with 81 soldiers (40 men, 41 women) participating. This is one of the special activities to welcome the summer of 2025 for Soc Trang children.

By participating in the program, children are equipped with new knowledge and skills through learning about the work of a police officer; learning social knowledge and skills, skills to adapt to change, international integration skills... In addition, children participate in cultural and artistic activities, physical education, sports , drowning prevention skills, and self-protection.

One of the new things in the curriculum is the motto that learning is a process. The Organizing Committee will design content according to the goal of helping children practice independence, starting with the smallest things, such as: learning how to wash clothes, clean the bedroom, toilet, fold the mosquito net and pillow after waking up and doing housework exercises.

This is one of the positive self-discipline for the children through simple things but requires perseverance, patience and a sense of order in life, in thinking and presenting and expressing ideas. At the same time, the children also have the opportunity to learn by themselves, work together in groups through collective games, creative fashion shows, campfire nights... helping the young soldiers have the opportunity to develop their talents and strengths.

Through the activities, the Organizing Committee hopes that the young soldiers will be better trained physically and mentally, grow up every day, know how to love and be responsible for themselves, their families, and society, and always build a spirit of solidarity and attachment to friends and teammates.
