At the meeting of the Final Jury of the National Press Award “For the Cause of Vietnam Education” 2025, the Jury members commented that the quality of this year’s works was consistent, reflecting the breath of educational life in a vivid, humane and profound way. Many works showed the serious and creative efforts of journalists in spreading the good values of the education sector.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Chairman of the Final Jury - assessed that the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnam Education" in 2025 continued to be a successful season, demonstrating the deep interest of the press in the field of education.
Although the national press is in the process of streamlining and restructuring, the number of press agencies and journalists has decreased, Mr. Loi said that the number of entries this year is still maintained at a high level.

Not only major central newsrooms, but many local press agencies also actively responded, including units that had previously participated less. This shows the strong influence and enthusiastic response of the press team to the topic of education - a field close to and closely connected with social life.
In terms of quality, the judges unanimously agreed that this year’s entries have made significant progress, both in content and presentation. Many entries demonstrate meticulous investment, exploring large and difficult issues that require in-depth knowledge, serious research time, and critical perspectives.
The prominent topics mentioned include: Teachers Law, digital transformation in education, building boarding schools in mountainous areas, innovating curriculum and textbooks, extra teaching and learning, etc. Many electronic newspaper and television works are evaluated as excellent in form, creative in expression and attractive in approach to the problem.
“It can be affirmed that this year is a successful season in both scale and quality, continuing to affirm the position and significance of the Press Award 'For the cause of Vietnamese Education' in the hearts of journalists and the public,” Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi emphasized.

Press accompanies educational innovation
According to Mr. Le Thanh Kim - Chairman of the Preliminary Council, Member of the Final Council, the 2025 "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" Journalism Award recorded many innovations compared to previous seasons, especially in terms of format and content reflecting education policy.
He said that this year, the entries in all three categories of print, electronic and radio and television focused heavily on policy communication, not just on the policy planning or promulgation stage, but also reflected the implementation process in practice - where advantages, difficulties and arising issues were clearly shown. This is a noteworthy point, showing the maturity of the press in accompanying the education sector.
Many of the works are elaborately invested, with 3-5 series of articles in print and electronic newspapers, or radio and television programs with long duration and depth of content. The works not only reflect the breath of educational life, but also contribute to spreading the spirit of innovation in policy communication.
Highly appreciating the quality of printed media, Mr. Le Thanh Kim said that this genre has strengths in policy analysis, criticism and solution-proposing. Meanwhile, radio and television stand out in good models, exemplary teachers, creating positive emotions for viewers and listeners.
“It can be affirmed that the 2025 Press Awards have made significant progress in quality, quantity and form of expression. The press not only improves professional skills but also strongly applies modern technology in creating works, demonstrating its companionship and practical contribution to the country's education cause,” Mr. Le Thanh Kim emphasized.

The number of participating units is diverse, spanning from North to South, showing the strong attraction of the Award.
In addition, this year’s e-newspaper works are evaluated as rich, creative, and of consistent quality. Not only do central newspapers have a series of large, resonant articles, but many local newspapers also demonstrate progress in writing, modern, multimedia expression.
