Changi Airport, Singapore, consists of four terminals and Jewel - a 10-storey shopping mall that seamlessly connects to Terminals 1, 2, and 3. The airport combines art, architecture, and nature into a single structure. In March, Changi was named the world's best airport for the eighth consecutive year by Skytrax, the London-based airport and airline rating and review organization.
Pictured is the 40-meter-high HSBC Rain Vortex - the world's tallest indoor waterfall, located in the Jewel area. This is also a popular photo spot at Changi Airport. This location is free for visitors. Surrounding this waterfall is the Shiseido Forest with 2,500 tall trees and 100,000 shrubs of various types that help regulate the air. The sky train connecting Terminals 2 and 3 also passes by this waterfall. In the evening, the waterfall will change color, combining music to create a beautiful sound and light show.
