The album is a unique blend of Eastern philosophy and modern musical spirit, both profound and solemn, yet full of energy and inspirational aspirations.

“The purple pavilion of Khuê tinh is always bright/The stele of the Doctorate reflects the light of Thiên Quang,” the image of the Imperial Academy – the first national school of our country, the symbol of the quintessence of national education is brilliantly depicted in the album “History in Stone” by musician Đinh Khánh Ly.

Sharing information with the press on May 21, musician Dinh Khanh Ly said that the album consists of 17 works combining folk and contemporary music , weaving together a consistent story about morality and knowledge, recreating the cultural flow from the ancient mandarin era to the aspiration to study and practice of today's generation; a deep gratitude to cultural celebrities and national heroes, the ancestors who forged the sacred soul of the mountains and rivers.

Some of the works that can be mentioned in the album are "Quoc Tu Giam - The light of knowledge", "The spirit of Thang Long", "The descendants of Lac Hong", "The legend of Hai Ba Trung", Mash-up "The song of the people's teacher" ... Especially, there is the song "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh " performed by Dinh Khanh Ly and the band with the hope that young people will understand more about the sacrifice of beloved Uncle Ho for the cause of national liberation.

Sharing about her brainchild, musician Dinh Khanh Ly said that she and her team also faced difficulties in conveying the depth of culture and history without losing the artistry and emotion. Because ancient materials can be difficult to approach for young people, but too much innovation can easily stray from the original spirit.

Each melody is a reminder of the spirit of dedication, wisdom and resilience that transcends time. These values are not only engraved on the stone stele of the Temple of Literature, but also live vividly in the minds of Vietnamese people, becoming a guiding light for many generations to reach the horizon of knowledge.

The musician not only aims to develop academics but also wants her music to reach a wider audience, especially the general public and the younger generation. She wants to inspire the younger generation to think deeply about core values such as humanity, learning, humility, the desire to rise up in life, cultivating and training themselves to serve the country and the people.

Sharing about this musical product, Dr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature, highly appreciated the efforts and love of musician Dinh Khanh Ly in the mission of preserving, conserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the nation.

Mr. Kieu believes that musician Dinh Khanh Ly has chosen a different path, which is to recreate the national spirit through a contemporary musical language that is concise, profound and full of sophistication.

Each melody is a living “record” to convey great ideas: the concept of morality, respect for knowledge and honoring the talented people who have left their names in history. It is a connection from the past to the present, awakening the cultural depth that has been forgotten somewhere in the hustle and bustle of life.

Amidst the rustic rhythm of traditional instruments are unexpected modern changes as a metaphor for continuity. Traditional materials blend with contemporary sounds to create a musical space that is both profound and fresh, reflecting the continuous flow of cultural art./.
