Officers and soldiers shine on the professional stage

With the theme "80 years - Glory of the People's Public Security", the 13th People's Public Security Arts Festival in 2025 is one of the large-scale cultural activities of the People's Public Security Forces to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. This is also an activity to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encourage, motivate, andeducate officers and soldiers to actively strive in their work, practice ethics, and lifestyle according to Uncle Ho's Six Teachings, contributing to building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security Force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The image of the police officer is performed by police officers and soldiers of units and localities on the stage of Ho Guom Theater.

Held in 4 areas, each area has the participation of thousands of officers and soldiers who are the core cultural and artistic cores of the Public Security of units, localities and many units in the People's Army, the Festival has left deep impressions in the hearts of officers, soldiers and people in Hai Phong, Hue, Lam Dong, Kien Giang . With the diversity of content and performance forms, the programs and entries have contributed to promoting the glorious tradition of the Public Security force in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; building and spreading the beautiful image of the Public Security soldier "Bravery, humanity, selflessness for the country, serving the people".

The final round was held from May 20 to 22 at Ho Guom Theater with 36 best performances by the mass art troupes participating in the Festival. On May 20 and 21, officers, soldiers and people in Hanoi had the opportunity to enjoy many elaborate performances of many genres such as singing, dancing, music and drama.

Talking to us during the days when they gathered in Hanoi with their teammates to participate in the final round, many officers and soldiers of many mass art troupes expressed their joy and pride when their programs and performances won high prizes at the regional performance festival and continued to "compete" at Ho Guom Theater. Expressing their high determination to "sing with all their heart, burn with all their heart" in this special performance round, Captain Ho Cong Quang, an officer of Hau Giang Provincial Police, was moved to say that for any officer, soldier, or artist, performing on a large, professional, and classy stage of the People's Public Security Forces like Ho Guom Theater is a very rare opportunity. Organizing the final round of the Festival at Ho Guom Theater is both to introduce to the officers, soldiers and people of the Capital the most outstanding artistic achievements of the mass art troupes, and to create conditions for the core art talents of units and localities to have the opportunity to perform on the big stage.

It is known that the performances in the final round have content praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho; love for the homeland; the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces in general, the Public Security of units and localities in particular in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh and implementing the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security Forces... Sharing about the performances participating in the Festival in general, the final round of the Festival in particular, Lieutenant Colonel, musician An Hieu, lecturer at the University of Culture and Arts of the Army, said that right from the judging of the regional round, the musician was very surprised by the professional quality of the programs and performances participating in the festival. The performances in the final round are the best performances, the quintessence of the art troupes brought to the festival. This is the result of many efforts of the officers and soldiers, when they have to ensure professional work, practice and perform. The members of the jury have a very heavy responsibility, which is to judge fairly and accurately, to choose the most deserving and excellent performances to award prizes and contribute to the success of this festival.

The 13th Public Art Festival of the People's Public Security Forces in 2025, Region I, took place in Hai Phong from March 6 to 10, with 22 troupes from the Public Security of units and localities, and 1 troupe from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region I Festival, 5 troupes won the A prize; 8 troupes won the B prize; 6 troupes won the C prize; 4 troupes won the Encouragement prize. The Region II Festival took place in Lam Dong from March 22 to 25, with 16 troupes from the Public Security of units and localities, and 1 troupe from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region II Festival, 4 troupes won the A prize; 6 troupes won the B prize; 5 troupes won the C prize; 2 troupes won the Encouragement prize. The Region III Festival took place in Hue City from April 9 to 13, with 24 troupes from the Public Security of units and localities, and 1 troupe from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region III Festival, 5 troupes won the A prize; 8 groups won the B prize; 9 groups won the C prize; 2 groups won the Encouragement prize. The Regional IV Festival took place in Kien Giang from April 22 to 26, with 22 groups from the Public Security of units and localities, and 1 group from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Regional IV Festival, 6 groups won the A prize; 7 groups won the B prize; 8 groups won the C prize; 2 groups won the Encouragement prize. The final round of the Festival took place at Ho Guom Theater from May 20 to 22. The Gala program to perform excellent performances and award outstanding collectives and individuals at the Festival will be held on the evening of May 22.
