An Tho: Vietnam's mark in investment cooperation in Vladimir province, Russia

Launching project to produce electrical equipment and consumer goods

On April 18, 2025, at the Vladimir Regional Government headquarters, local leaders had a working session with the Vietnamese delegation, in which An Tho Company was the key partner. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in developing industrial park infrastructure in Sobinsky district, specifically in Vorsha village. The project is expected to build a modern industrial park, focusing on the production of electrical equipment, household appliances and consumer goods for the Russian and regional markets.

According to Mr. Tai Thanh Nhan, Director of An Tho Company, this signing is an important first step in the company's international expansion strategy. He emphasized: "An Tho is committed to working closely with Vladimir province to build an investment environment that harmonizes economic benefits and environmental responsibility, towards sustainable development and common prosperity."

The Vladimir Oblast government highly values ​​the role of Vietnamese investors, especially An Tho Company, in promoting local industrial development. Mr. Alexander Remiga, First Deputy Governor of Vladimir Oblast, in charge of industrial policy and economic development, affirmed: “We consider Vietnam a strategic partner, ready to cooperate extensively to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.”

An Tho’s project not only creates hundreds of new jobs for local people, but also contributes to technology transfer, improving production levels and expanding the market for Vietnamese products in Russia. In particular, the project focuses on green development, energy saving and environmental protection, in line with the sustainable development trend that both countries are aiming for.

Promoting Vietnam - Russia bilateral cooperation

An Tho’s investment in Vladimir province is a vivid demonstration of the strong development of Vietnam-Russia relations in the fields of economics, trade and investment. The local government is committed to providing maximum support in legal procedures, site clearance and necessary conditions for the project to be quickly implemented. According to the plan, the design work will begin in 2025 and construction is expected to begin in 2026.

This is also a step to concretize high-level agreements between the two countries on enhancing investment cooperation, creating favorable conditions for businesses of both sides to expand production and business activities in partner markets.
