[Photo] Nhan Dan Newspaper launches books, publications and exhibitions to celebrate 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
On June 18, at the Editorial Office at 71 Hang Trong (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), Nhan Dan Newspaper held a book launch ceremony "Uncle Ho's articles on culture and journalism in Nhan Dan Newspaper", special publications, special pages and an exhibition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh said that the event aims to commemorate and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh - the founder of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism, and generations of journalists who have contributed to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. Comrade Vu Trong Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, introduced the publication "Uncle Ho's articles on culture and journalism in Nhan Dan Newspaper". Comrade Van Bac, former Department Head, Head of the Party Building Department of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former full-time reporter of the General Secretary shared at the ceremony. Journalist Hai Duong, former member of the Editorial Board of Nhan Dan Newspaper, expressed his impression of the continuity of time and the unique content of the publication "Imprints & Trends".
Journalist Huu Uoc, former Editor-in-Chief of the People's Police Newspaper, expressed his respect and admiration for the team of journalists of the People's Newspaper. Veteran journalist Do Quang shared memories of his colleagues under the banyan tree of Nhan Dan Newspaper at the event. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Chi Trung, Deputy Director of the Institute of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the two books launched today are very valuable textbooks on the history of journalism. Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh, on behalf of Nhan Dan Newspaper, presented the book "Articles on culture and journalism by Uncle Ho in Nhan Dan Newspaper" and the special publication "Imprints and Trends" to the National Library of Vietnam, Hanoi Library, Center for Scientific Information (Academy of Journalism and Communication), Institute of Journalism and Communication Training (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi). Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition "Nhan Dan Newspaper in the flow of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism" within the framework of the event. The exhibition displays valuable documents, images, and artifacts about the 100-year journey of revolutionary journalism, from the first newspapers such as Thanh Nien and Viet Nam Doc Lap to publications during the resistance and renovation periods.
