The work 'Ba Ria Vung Tau - Destination of international super yachts' by author Do Tuan Hung won the Gold Medal.

On August 19, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists coordinated with the Dong Nai Province Literature and Arts Association to organize the Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival with the theme "Country - People of the East on the path of integration and development" .

The photo festival brings together hundreds of photographers from 8 provinces: Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Duong , Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh and Dong Nai.

After the launch, the organizing committee received nearly 1,600 entries, including 117 photo series and 1,469 single photos from 217 authors. Through many rounds of scoring, the jury selected 156 entries for public judging and ranking. Of which, the photo Ba Ria Vung Tau - Destination of international superyachts by author Do Tuan Hung was awarded the Gold Medal. In addition, the jury also awarded 2 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 6 consolation prizes to outstanding entries.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also launched a PhotoMarathon photo contest with the theme Dong Nai on the path of integration and development .

The work 'On the road to integration' by author Nguyen Van Quang won first prize in the PhotoMarathon photo contest.

The jury assessed that this year's photo collections were invested in by the authors, many of which were innovative, expressing youthfulness, freshness and modern style.

Mr. Le Nguyen, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, said that the Artistic Photography Festival is an opportunity for photographers in the Southeast region to review the fine traditions of the industry and look back at the achievements they have made. The award-winning works bring deep impressions of life, the beauty of nature and people in the Southeast, expressing the feelings and aspirations of the Vietnamese people on the path of development and international integration.
