White Light Cinéhub is an integrated cinema space project, including a high-quality art cinema screening room combined with professional post-production services, along witheducational programs and dialogues about cinema. The project was initiated by Complex 1 Community Group and post-production unit White Light Post (Thailand), with the support of the French Institute and the French Embassy in Vietnam.
The event was attended by Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh - President of the French Institute Global, Mr. Jeremy Segay - Audiovisual Attaché for Southeast Asia, Mr. Tran Dac Phuc - Co-founder/Director of Complex 1, Mr. Chartchai Ketnust - CEO of White Light Post (Thailand), Ms. Le Thi Thu Ha - Head of Film Dissemination Department, Department of Cinema, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, along with many cultural representatives from France as well as Vietnamese directors and filmmakers.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh - President of the Global French Institute (headquartered in Paris, France) expressed her joy at the birth of a new cinema space in Hanoi , following the previous film screening activities of L'Espace under the French Institute.
Eva believes that this is the starting point for many trilateral exchange programs, supporting projects in the region. White Light Cinéhub acts as a creative bridge between Vietnam, Thailand and France, promoting professional exchanges, supporting the development of young projects, and expanding the network of film communities in Southeast Asia and Europe.

On this occasion, the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement between White Light Cinéhub and the French Institute, signed by Mr. Tran Dac Phuc and Ms. Eva Nguyen Binh, took place under the witness of Ms. Rachida Dati - French Minister of Culture - at the Pan Pacific Hotel.
The program opens up open discussions about the expectation of developing a cinema space focusing on post-production, as well as promoting technical-cultural exchanges behind the screen, with the participation of experts and young filmmakers.
White Light Cinéhub cinema space is located on the 3rd floor of Complex 1 (Dong Da, Hanoi), including an international standard DCP screening room and a lab (research and practice room) specializing in film post-production.
The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in September 2025, with many diverse activities related to cinema.
Notable independent films and academic art films will be screened for free after obtaining permission from the management agency to submit for approval and screen in accordance with Vietnamese law, as well as ensuring copyright issues.
