Apple continues to assert its leading position in the ranking of the world's most valuable brands, according to the BrandZ 2025 report published by Kantar. This is the fourth consecutive year that the American technology giant has maintained its position as the top brand with an estimated brand value of $1,290 billion , up 28% compared to 2024.
The BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2025 ranking is based on a combination of financial performance and consumer brand recognition. According to Kantar, the report compiles data from more than 4.5 million consumer surveys in 54 countries, covering 522 different product and service categories.
Analysts say Apple's success comes from its premium positioning strategy, strong customer loyalty, and ability to expand its product ecosystem from hardware like iPhone, MacBook, Apple Watch to software and services like iCloud, Apple Music, Apple Pay.
Apple's brand value currently accounts for about 12% of the total value of the entire BrandZ ranking, with the total market value of the top 100 brands reaching $10.7 trillion .
Notably, Apple also appeared in the two fastest growing categories: consumer tech and luxury, with increases of 46% and 45%, respectively. High-end products such as the iPhone Pro and Apple Watch Ultra are considered key factors in strengthening this dual position. The intersection of technology and luxury lifestyle is increasingly evident in Apple's development strategy, creating a difference from competitors in the industry.
In addition to Apple, other technology brands such as Google, Microsoft and Amazon also continued to maintain high positions in the rankings, reflecting the far-reaching influence of the technology industry on the global economy in the context of increasingly strong digital transformation.
The report also found that consumers increasingly value brands that invest in innovation, user experience and sustainability, factors that are reshaping the competitive landscape in global markets.
