Three companies had their health food registration certificates revoked

Twelve health food products from three different companies have had their product declaration registration certificates revoked by the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health).

On June 6, the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) announced that it had issued decisions to revoke the validity of the Product Declaration Registration Certificate for 12 health food products of 3 different companies.

Previously, the companies that announced these products all sent official dispatches requesting the revocation of the Certificate of Registration of the Declaration of Health Protection Food Products.

Of these, there are 10 products announced by Trumpharmaco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (address: No. 36, Lane 23, Nhat Tao Street, Dong Ngac Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City). The two remaining products whose product declaration registration certificates have been revoked are: Berocca Performance Mango announced by Bayer Vietnam Co., Ltd. (address: 118/4 Amata, Long Binh Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province) and Delicious Syrup announced by A My International Trading Co., Ltd. (address: No. 43, Group 43, Tran Binh Street, Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi City).

According to regulations, health protection foods that want to be circulated on the market must register the product declaration with the Ministry of Health. The dossier includes a food safety test certificate valid for 12 months, scientific evidence of the product's uses or main ingredients, and a certificate of the facility meeting food safety conditions meeting GMP standards or equivalent.

From May 15 to June 15, in order to strengthen the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and intellectual property infringement, the Ministry of Health established 15 teams to inspect the business of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, functional foods, traditional medicines and medical equipment.

Recently, many businesses have proactively submitted applications to revoke their health food product registration certificates.
