Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong announced the Politburo's decision to remove Mr. Dinh Tien Dung from the positions of Secretary of the City Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, member of the City Party Executive Committee, Head of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation and related positions to retire according to his wishes.

The Politburo also assigned Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, to run the Hanoi Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the City Party Committee is completed according to regulations.

"The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee request that members of the City Party Committee Executive Committee and heads of city agencies and units continue to promote the tradition of the Capital Party Committee, unite, and strive to successfully complete the goals, tasks, and plans set out in 2024," Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong stated.
