Bac Giang: Approving prices of public irrigation products and services

BAC GIANG - The People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued Decision No. 607 on approving prices of public irrigation products and services in the province applicable for 2024.

Accordingly, specific prices are applied to irrigation and drainage for agricultural production and aquaculture. Specifically, for rice land, prices range from 1.003 - 1.811 million VND/ha/crop depending on the region (mountainous or midland) and irrigation method (gravity, dynamic or a combination of both).

For seedlings, vegetables, and short-term industrial crops, the price is 40% of the price applied to rice-growing land.

Water supply for aquaculture costs from 600 - 840 VND/m³ or 250 VND/m² of open surface/year. Water supply for irrigation of long-term industrial crops, fruit trees, flowers and medicinal plants costs from 840 - 1,020 VND/m³.

If not measured in cubic meters, it is calculated by area with a price equal to 80% of the price for rice-growing land in one year. Drainage in rural and urban areas (except inner-city areas) costs from 35,105 - 63,385 VND/ha/crop depending on the area and drainage method (dynamic, gravity, or combined).

The decision also stipulates adjustment levels in specific cases such as creating irrigation sources only, separating irrigation and drainage costs, or creating sources from level 2 or higher. The above prices do not include value added tax and are applied from the time of signing the decision for the entire 2024 budget year.
