From November 2 to November 4, 2024, the 11th Northeast Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in Lang Son province in 2024 with the theme "Northeast Culture - Identity, Integration and Reaching Out" is a large-scale cultural event with the participation of 8 provinces: Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen and Lang Son. Participating in the content of the Festival, Bac Giang province has nearly 100 artisans, actors and mass athletes.

The 11th Northeast Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in Lang Son Province in 2024 is a significant political and cultural event, an opportunity for the ethnic groups in the Northeast to promote the tradition of solidarity and patriotism, spread love, encourage and help each other to overcome all difficulties, quickly overcome the severe consequences caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi) to rebuild a peaceful, stable and developed life.

At the cultural heritage exhibition, Bac Giang introduced the achievements in economic, cultural and social development of the province, cultural activities of ethnic groups in the province such as brocade weaving, embroidery of the Dao ethnic group, making wind paper of the Cao Lan ethnic group, introducing cuisine and community tourism spots in the province. Also at the exhibition space, the Organizing Committee organized a competition to demonstrate tour guide skills. As a result , the Organizing Committee awarded 02 C prizes to the booth displaying cultural heritage and cuisine, and B prize to the tour guide skills demonstration.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to units at the Festival.
For sports activities , Bac Giang participated in 02 events of pushing sticks and tug of war , winning 12 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 2 bronze medals and ranked second overall . At the mass art festival , Bac Giang delegation participated with the theme " Bac Giang culture - Identity, convergence and reaching out" including 3 contents: Performance of the "Calling the soul" ritual of the San Diu ethnic group , Nam Duong commune , Luc Ngan district ; performance of costumes of the San Diu, Nung and Dao ethnic groups ; the art performance including 05 performances introducing Quan Ho folk songs, Dao folk songs and folk dances of the Tay ethnic group . As a result , the Organizing Committee awarded 01 B prize and 04 C prizes to the performances ; Bac Giang province was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Lang Son province for its outstanding achievements in participating in the Festival./ .
