Vietnam map made from 500kg of salt attracts visitors to check-in in Bac Lieu

A map of Vietnam made from 500kg of salt placed at Hung Vuong Square ( Bac Lieu province) attracts many people and tourists to check in.

Bac Lieu is the country’s largest salt producer with a total area of ​​nearly 1,400 hectares. The traditional salt production here has a history of more than 100 years.

In 2020, salt making in Bac Lieu province was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Bac Lieu salt is not only widely used domestically but also exported to countries including Japan and Korea.
