Four top Vietnamese clubs participate in the Four-team tournament in Thai Nguyen

As planned, the Tu Hung - Thai Nguyen 2025 football tournament will take place from December 19 to 27 at the Provincial Stadium (Dai Phuc commune) organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province in coordination with the Vietnam Football Federation.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on December 21. The tournament brings together four professional clubs: Hanoi FC, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, The Cong Viettel and PVF People's Public Security.

Six matches will take place over three days (December 21, 24, 27), two matches per day. The closing ceremony and award ceremony are scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. on December 25. The total value of the prizes is VND700 million.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen Doan Van Cong affirmed: "These are strong teams, with many foreign players and new elements. This year, four teams have agreed to participate in the tournament, with the participation of group 1 players.

We have worked with the clubs to ensure that the participating teams comply with the regulations, bring high professional quality and serve Thai Nguyen fans well. The tournament promises to bring many attractive matches and attract a large number of local spectators."

The new stadium, with a capacity of 22,000 seats, covers an area of 15.47 hectares, meets international standards, with 4 stands: A, B (2 x 7,500 seats, covered) and C, D (2 x 3,500 seats).

Electricity, lighting, water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment plant, internal traffic and transformer station are invested synchronously.

Responding to reporters' questions about the progress of completing infrastructure related to the football field, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Hoang Thai Cuong said: "The main items have been completed. The connecting route serving about 22,000 people has been basically completed, meeting design standards, ensuring convenient traffic for major events."

The representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized that the Stadium will officially operate from December 19. It is expected to attract more than 22,000 spectators and 300 - 350 delegates.

The supporting infrastructure, from fast food stalls, drinking water to security and medical services, are all carefully prepared to serve the audience. Tickets are free and allow people to watch two matches on the same day, creating an opportunity for people to fully experience the tournament.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Do Thi Minh Hoa commented: "The inauguration ceremony of the Stadium and the Four Heroes Tournament is an important event, contributing to promoting the image of a dynamic and hospitable Thai Nguyen."

On this occasion, Thai Nguyen signed a strategic cooperation agreement with VTVcab in the fields of media, culture - sports - tourism. Immediately after the signing ceremony, the two units will urgently complete a detailed plan to implement cooperation items, in which priority is given to the organization and production of the upcoming Four Heroes Football Tournament.
