Haaland reaches 100 goals in the Premier League

Facing an opponent struggling in the bottom half of the rankings, coach Pep Guardiola certainly did not think that Man City would have to go through the final minutes despite scoring 5 goals.

Man City started explosively and quickly led home team Fulham 5-1 after less than an hour of play. Haaland, Tijjani Reijnders and Phil Foden scored in the first half, creating a clear dominance for the visitors.

Early in the second half, Foden completed his double, while Sander Berge scored an own goal, making it 5-1. On the other side, Fulham only managed to find a goal back thanks to Emile Smith Rowe.

For Haaland, the match marked the milestone of 100 goals in the Premier League. He became the 35th player to reach this milestone and the fastest in the history of the tournament, after only 111 matches.

However, Man City's loose defense made them pay the price. Fulham fought back strongly, scoring 3 goals in a row to reduce the score to 4-5. In the last 20 minutes, including extra time, the away team had to withstand constant pressure and at times was in danger of being equalized.

In the 90+9 minute, Man City fans held their breath when they saw Gianluigi Donnarumma defeated by Kevin, but the ball was still cleared by the defender right on the goal line.
