On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Vu sent words of encouragement, asked about Van Truong's health and encouraged him to stay optimistic throughout the recovery process.
General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu also conveyed the regards of Vietnam Football Federation President Tran Quoc Tuan to Van Truong, and discussed in detail with the medical team about the treatment process.

Nguyen Van Truong, born in 2003, was injured in the match between the Vietnam U23 team and the South Korean U23 team at the Panda Cup 2025 (China) after a collision in an unfavorable position, leading to a ligament injury.
