Beautiful and bright football field for SEA Games
We arrived at the Chonburi Main Stadium, where 2/3 of the women's football matches of the 33rd SEA Games will take place (the other stadium is Thai University) a day before the matches of Group A with host Thailand kick off. The general feeling is that this is a pretty nice, clean, neat stadium, with stands on all four sides with a capacity of 8,680 people, and a blue running track covered with synthetic asphalt. This stadium has also hosted many Thai sports festivals and some major regional events, so it also has a fire pit and a neat place to hang the flags of the countries.

Both inside and outside the stadium, all preparations for the 33rd SEA Games are still being carried out urgently with many departments actively involved. Many staff members take turns decorating the entrance gate, repainting the fence, adding more partitions between rooms and walkways. In the stadium, there are workers painting lime, rolling grass and re-measuring the dimensions of the field to ensure the field meets the standards.

However, according to our observations, the entrance to the locker room of the teams in the A stand is a bit narrow, some tables and chairs are still messy and have not been arranged neatly. The technical area of the two teams has not been cleaned yet, the seats are still dusty. Some equipment is still on the track. Perhaps everything will be adjusted and completed close to the opening ceremony on the afternoon of December 4. But clearly, the preparation is still in a hurry so close to the competition day, showing that the SEA Games Organizing Committee in general and women's football in Chonburi still have a lot of work to do if they want the event to go well.

The reporters' chairs were put out to dry in the sun.

Reminiscing about beautiful memories, determined to win the victory
Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hanh, in charge of the women's team, said that Chonburi is a good land for the Vietnamese women's team. 6 years ago, we overcame all opponents from Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar in the group stage, to the Philippines in the semi-finals and best of all, defeated host Thailand in the final to win the Southeast Asian championship. Mr. Doan Anh Tuan, Head of the VFF team, recalled that Chonburi is also the place that marked the memory of Huynh Nhu taking off her shirt to celebrate the goal scored in extra time in the final match that brought victory to Vietnam. Therefore, when returning to Chonburi, everyone still had the same emotions as before.

Huynh Nhu is certainly someone who cannot forget the excitement of scoring the golden goal in Chonburi. She said: "It's been 6 years, everything may be different now, but that memory is still as fresh as ever. We are happy to return to the place that left a historical mark and unforgettable images. Of course, I really hope to score again if I get to play. The important thing is that the whole team will be determined to play their best to get the best result here and bring more achievements to the Vietnamese women's team." Along with Huynh Nhu, Pham Hai Yen, who scored 5 goals, and Bich Thuy, who scored 3 goals in the Southeast Asian tournament, are both eagerly waiting for the time to enter the match.

The stadium staff are still painting and decorating.
