Seeing his team almost drop points despite leading 5-2, coach Pep Guardiola remained in a cheerful mood in the post-match interview. And he did not forget to "sarcastically" his players:

“I am too old, and the players have no respect for me! They don’t need to treat their coach that way. It only happened in this match,” the 54-year-old coach humorously shared.

However, coach Pep did not forget to praise the fighting spirit of the whole team: "We played a great match. Coming here, scoring 5 goals, and the way we played in the first half. In the end, the problem lies in character, resilience and defense."

Asked if he was worried when Fulham almost leveled the score, the Spaniard replied frankly: "Of course I am worried. But this will help us in the upcoming matches. Every match is a new challenge. You have to have a process to start repairing."

In another development, key striker Erling Haaland called the match "crazy" after he scored his 100th goal in the Premier League.

Sharing with Sky Sports , Haaland said: "It was a crazy match, nine goals were too many. In the end, we won. Although happy, it was not our best victory."

On reaching the 100-goal mark in the Premier League, the Norwegian striker said: "It's amazing and I'm really proud. It's a big thing and I'm very happy. I try to help the team score goals, that's my job."

This thrilling victory helped Man City narrow the gap with the top team Arsenal to only 2 points (before the Gunners play round 14). Man City's next match is a home match against Sunderland AFC on December 6.
