At 8:00 a.m. on December 3, the Organizing Committee of the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand officially issued and distributed press cards to international reporters at the main press center (MPC) of the Games, located at the campus of the National Radio and Television of Thailand (NBT).
Press passes are issued to reporters who have been previously approved by the respective National Olympic Committee (NOC) of each country.
Although the press card was received later than the previous SEA Games, it was still timely for reporters. In particular, Vietnamese reporters were able to cover the match between the U22 Vietnam team and the U22 Laos team that took place at 4 p.m. today (December 3).
Because previously, the Organizing Committee announced that they could only issue temporary press passes to reporters covering the two opening matches of the men's football event of the 33rd SEA Games. The passes were issued at 1 p.m., so close to the match time it was difficult to actively work.

SEA Games 33 press cards are prepared to be issued to reporters.
Therefore, a large number of Vietnamese reporters flocked to MPC on the morning of December 3 to receive press cards. The issuance and distribution of cards was done very quickly by the Organizing Committee. There were even gifts (shirts, thermos bottles) for each reporter.
MPC opened and officially came into operation on December 1, providing full support services for reporters during the Congress.
Specifically, MPC is a working area for the press with high-speed internet system, event updates, official announcements and information services, support and processing of press cards, information coordination with competition venues and sports federations, coordination of press rights of photojournalists...
In addition, MPC also has a canteen to serve free lunch for the media. In the morning and evening, reporters who need to eat can buy food through the counters here.
Dr. Gongsak Yodmani - Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) affirmed that Thailand - the country hosting the SEA Games again after more than 18 years - is completely ready for this event.
Mr. Gongsak Yodmani said the facilities at the MPC, IBC and the Sub-Press Centers (SPCs) will support media representatives from the 11 participating countries and provide real-time access to all competition data.
